Rijeka’s JGL, in cooperation with its partner company, Favorex, has successfully launched its most distinctive brand ”Aqua Maris” on the far away Filipino market.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 5th of April, 2018, under the name of “The Power of the Sea to Life” in Manila, the Philippines capital city, there was a large promotion of JGL’s popular Aqua Maris products. The ceremony was organised by Favorex, a Filipino partner of the well-known Rijeka based pharmaceutical company, which operates on a total of seven ASEAN Asian markets.
After JGL signed a licensing contract last year for products from its most basic line, in the spirit of good partner relationships, as well as with a statement of faith in its market attractiveness and strength, Favorex organised the launch ceremony of Aqua Maris products for around 250 guests, including doctors and pharmacists. Various Filipino medics presented both the high value and the particularities of the beneficial effects of seawater from the Croatian Adriatic sea.
Otherwise, JGL has very significantly strengthened its presence in the ASEAN regio in recent times.
As of today, this domestic, Rijeka-based pharmaceutical company has active sales in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and now, the Philippines. This is generally the distribution of the very popular Aqua Maris line, along with the Meralys and Vizol S contracted products on the Vietnamese market, and part of the company’s ophthalmic portfolio is currently on sale on the Thai market.
The opening of another distant and significant market in the ASEAN region confirms the validity of JGL’s strength and its strategic direction of international expansion, as well as the marketing of its own brands to the global health market.
