It has been quite a year for Mate Rimac and his company, Rimac Automobili. Some excerpts from his interview with Jutarnji List on October 22, 2017.
Rimac Automobili CEO Rimac commented on the past year and the company’s plans, noting that he holds 65% of the company and announcing a new recapitalization round, after which he will remain majority owner. Rimac noted that many potential investors are interested in the company and revealed that it chose Chinese Camel Group’s offer for recapitalization because the Group offered the most as partner.

Rimac revealed that the new model, C2, will be presented at the fair in Geneva, adding that production will be limited to 150 automobiles. He noted that Rimac Automobili is cooperating with seven large companies from the automotive industry, stressing that the only large companies in Europe that Rimac Automobili is not cooperating with are Opel and BMW.
Rimac noted that he retained 65% of the company and announced a new recapitalization round, stressing that he will remain majority owner after the second round. He revealed that many potential investors expressed interest in the company, concluding that Camel Group was chosen because it offered the most as partner.
