A new 2,500 square metre Plodine store seeks employees…

”The City of Pula always provides support for investments that contribute to new jobs.”

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 20th of January, 20178, the new Plodine supermarket in Pula covers over 2,500 square meters, boasts 160 parking spaces and currently employs 45 people. The investment is worth six million euro. The new store’s opening ceremony was attended by a number of guests and citizens, including Pula’s Deputy Mayor Elena Puh Belci, and member of the Board of Plodine’s Directors, Djozi Heberling, who ceremonially cut the ribbon and jointly opened Pula’s new supermarket.

As Glas Istre writes, at the beginning of her speech, Puh Belci thanked Plodine’s management for yet another important investment facility built near the center of Pula, emphasising her belief that good cooperation with fellow citizens and the overall economy will be achieved.

”I’m happy with the new jobs that are open. The City of Pula always provides support to investments that contribute to new jobs,” stated Puh Belci among other things, adding that this project will bring a higher quality to customers.

Herberling thanked everyone and expressed special gratitude to the Mayor of Pula, Boris Miletić, and all the services in the city who offered their support to the project.

As previously mentioned, the investment is rumoured to be worth 6 million euro, and the new Plodine store currently employs 45 staff, with plans to employ another 30 employees during the season.
