June the 25th, 2026 – With the main summer season approaching, the Croatia has launched a new promotional push aimed at attracting last-minute visitors.
The campaign focuses on markets where Croatia traditionally performs strongly, with the goal of reaching travellers who have not yet finalised their summer plans. Poslovni reports that tourism officials say last-minute demand remains an important part of the booking cycle, especially as some guests increasingly make decisions closer to their departure dates.
HTZ director Kristjan Staničić said that Croatia remains a highly sought-after destination, but that the focus is increasingly shifting towards extending the season beyond July and August and attracting visitors throughout the year.
The campaign promotes Croatia’s coastal destinations, experiences and travel offer, while targeting potential guests through digital advertising and international markets. Previous HTZ campaigns have focused on key European markets including Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Belgium.
Tourism authorities say interest in Croatia remains strong, with travellers showing continued demand for summer holidays as well as for trips outside the traditional peak period.
The move comes as Croatian tourism continues to adapt to changing travel habits, with the industry looking to balance the busiest months of the year with stronger pre- and post-season results.
