WOW was once again in one of its favourite bars – lounge bar Rooftop Lateral, on the highest point in the city with an amazing view of Zagreb. On the 26th floor and the dizzying height of a 100 metres, journalists, business partners and friends witnessed the launch of the new labels from the Dika line of the Slavonian winery Feravino. Dika is their summer trump card which you can sip with a light summer breeze or low calorie meal, with a sunset on a pebble beach or in some quiet city oasis, at a leisurely business event or simply keep it at home, properly chilled. Just in case. And for any opportunity. They say Dika is their middle and most used label, the star of the evening prepared by the modern, urban and quite likeable team from Feričanci, together with WOW member Ana Lisak.

If we are to judge by the choice of the location – Feravino is aiming high, but when love, passion and knowledge are included, the result cannot fail. This is noticeable also by the many positive changes Feravino has been going through in the past three years, positioning them increasingly as a modern winery with wines of various price levels, made by the highest global standards.

Their wines have been successfully exported to the United States and 15 other countries. This move by Feravino has definitely been confirmed with the presentation of the new visual identity of the Dika line of wines, and the novelty are a redesigned label, screw-on cap and Burgundy bottle for Chardonnay, Rosé and Frankovka. The label has been additionally simplified with a very noticeable label Dika, recognisable by the stylized pheasant feather, made by designer Zarja Vintar from the Ljubljana studio Kofein, inspired by the Slavonian forests, but also the easiness, drinkability and leisure of these wines.

Two esteemed oenologists are to be credit with novelties in the bottle: Marijan Knežević and Slovene Matjaž Lemut. They presented a total of 6 Dika labels: Graševina 2016, Pinot Blanc 2016, Chardonnay 2016, Rosé 2016, Frankovka 2015 and Merlot 2015, explaining in detail which positions are responsible for aromas, and which for the “bodies,” while disclosing their big plans for the slightly neglected Slavonian variety Frankovka. Two sparkling wines are in production, and the ice harvest with Frankovka has been successfully completed. And while you wait impatiently new autumn premieres, feel free to experiment this summer with Dika. You won’t spend much money, and you may find your favourite for the perfect refreshment. WOW members already have: Frankovka Rosé, which will accompany us in many summer nights.
