If we judge by the beginning of the year, 2017 will be a very successful year for Feravino. Notable presentations at international and domestic fairs have resulted in large interest for primarily premium labels Miraz and Dika, so orders are constantly rising, Zg-magazin.hr reported on March 10, 2017.

Frankovka is conquering Europe, the variety which has been around in Feričanci since the 18th century, giving excellent results in the cellars of Feravino. At a recent tasting in the capital of the Czech Republic, the metropolis of Frankovka, excellent reviews were heard. The French admire it, so the first larger shipment of Frankovka Dika was sent in mid-February to one of the most recognisable wine countries, with increasing demand in Mexico as it goes great with their spicy meals.

The young rose and Graševina wines of the same label were sent to the United States, and as Graševina is very interesting and exotic variety for New York importers, orders are constantly growing.

“This year we expect an expansion of the assortment with new products and continuing growth of sales in Croatia as well as demanding international markets. Feravino has so far exported to ten countries, while this year we are exporting to 15 countries and already have arranged exports in larger quantities. We work jointly, with our expert and creative young team, open for cooperation and new sales challenges,” pointed out Luka Vrga, sales director of Feravino.

Besides presenting at Wine Professional in Amsterdam, Vinsud in Montpellier and tasting in Prague, Feravino presented in Novi Sad, Sarajevo Vino Fest, Beowinefair in Belgrade and Wine&Movies in Ancona, with significant presentations at home as well.

At the first Sparkling Wine Salon in Zagreb’s Dubrovnik hotel the interesting and unique sparkling Virtuo was presented, while at En Primeur 2017 in Zagreb’s Westin hotel the 2016 Graševina from both Dika and Miraz labels and the Dika 2016 rose was quite well received.

“Our young wines are truly a reflection of the 2016 harvest which may not special in quantity, but is one of the highest quality. They are elegant, with accented fruitiness and freshness, interesting and unique in taste and structure, with balanced acids, very harmonious and with good alcohols,” pointed out Marijan Knežević, chief oenologist of Feravino, at the presentation of young wines in Westin.
