July 19, 2018 — A bomb was set off inside a car in Dubrovnik last night in what local reports claim was part of a football-related feud.

A car exploded in Dubrovnik last night in what reports claim was an act of football hooliganism.

A bomb was allegedly set off inside an Opel Vectra in Nova Mokošica at about 3 a.m. near the kindergarten and grammar school, according to a local police report. The explosion was so strong it damaged a second vehicle while also sending the car’s windshield flying off about 40 meters into the night.

The automobile’s 57-year-old owner is reportedly a member of Dinamo Zagreb’s ultras, the Bad Blue Boys. Investigators reportedly suspect the bombing was connected with a football-related feud.

A second explosive was thrown onto the terrace of the car’s owner, though it did not cause any damage.
