Kutjevo Graševinas are gold again! The Gast International Fair was held in the beginning of March in the Split Spaladium Arena, popularly called the Dionizijana – 22nd international rating of wine and strong liqueur. This year’s samples arrived from Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenia and Croatia. The rating was done by renowned oenologists led by Goran Zdunić, with samples rated with the 100 points OIV method.
Kutjevo company had a brilliant show with three gold medals: Superior Graševina 2016, Graševina Turković 2016 and Graševina De Gotho 2016.
“The Superior Graševina represents the first superior wine of continental Croatia. It has an opulent aroma of ripe grapes, a harmony of all variety components and a special noblesse in taste, which is why it often wins at many domestic and international wine ratings,” pointed out Darija Kovačević, marketing director of Kutjevo company.
Besides the Superior Graševina, Kutjevo winery has a premium line of De Gotho Graševina and Graševina Turković produced in just several thousand bottles, very limited wine series.
“Graševina Turković is a semi-dry wine with eight grams of sugars made from grapes from 25-year-old grassy vineyards in Vetovo, with reduced yield. Graševina De Gotho was made from grapes from a special wine growing area Hrnjevac, harvested slightly later, but not a late harvest. These are exclusive wines, for consumers who expect from Graševina to provide all its beauty of scent and taste,” concluded Ivan Marinclin, oenologist of Kutjevo company.
