The Gumball 3000 Rally is in town on the 4th of July!
Founded in 1999, the Gumball 3000 Rally has risen in popularity. Originally founded by British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper with its headquarters in London, UK, Gumball 3000 has gained global recognition by re inventing the road rally, as well as combining popular culture with a road trip adventure to create a hugely successful and aspirational global lifestyle brand.
As Gumball 3000’s official website states: In May 1999, Cooper invited his influential friends to join him on a driving adventure across the rest of Europe, hosting glamorous parties attended by Kate Moss, Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue and Johnny Knoxville – and immediately gained notoriety gracing the pages of GQ, Esquire and Vanity Fair, as one of ”Cool Britannia’s” must do events.
This year, the rally is heading from the Baltic to the Balkans in an adventure from Riga, Latvia to Warsaw, Poland, to Budapest, Hungary, to right here in Dubrovnik, Croatia before heading further south to Tirana, Albania and then finally to Athens and Mykonos in Greece!
