May the 18th, 2025 – A 55 million euro investment in the brand new Hyatt Regency Hotel in Zadar is finally complete, with the complex’s doors now open to guests.
As Ana Roksandic/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Hyatt Regency Hotel has officially opened in Zadar. The hotel’s opening marks the official entry of global hotel group Hyatt Hotels Corporation into the Croatian market in an investment worth 55 million euros.
This well known hotel group believes that its proximity to Zadar Airport, various parks and landmarks will make it a fantastic starting point for both business and leisure guests alike.

In addition to the above, the brand new Hyatt Regency Hotel in Zadar has more than 740 square metres of multi-purpose space ready for all kinds of conferences, private celebrations and weddings, as well as a spa. All of the facilities, including restaurants and wellness, are also available to people living in Zadar.
“We’re thrilled to have opened the doors of the very first Hyatt hotel in all of Croatia. We believe that this project will enrich the tourist offer not only of Zadar, but that of the wider region as well. At Doğuş Group, we’re very proud of our continuous contribution to the development of Croatian tourism, which has been going on for more than fifteen years now,” said Burak Baykan, director of Doğuş Croatia, which owns the hotel.

The newly opened Hyatt Regency Hotel in Zadar was visited by numerous state officials including Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Ministers of Economy and Tourism Ante Šušnjar and Tonči Glavina, as well as numerous other guests such as the Ambassador of Turkey to Croatia Hayriye Nurdan Erpulat Altuntaş, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić, Zadar County Prefect Božidar Longin and Zadar Mayor Branko Dukić.

Hyatt Regency is otherwise part of a global network of luxury hotels and resorts present in more than 240 locations in more than 40 countries.
