Todorić is closer to the territory of the Republic of Croatia than previously assumed…
As Poslovni Dnevnik reports on the 22nd of October, 2017, the ex Agrokor boss, Ivica Todorić, was unable to be forcibly brought back to Croatia by the authorities, and the media has been speculating about him being in London for some time now, having allegedly registered his residence in the British capital. However, it would appear that not all is as it might seem…
Ante Todorić, the eldest of the Todorić sons, arrived in Zagreb on Friday from the United Kingdom in order to give evidence to the police.
As of yesterday, Ivica Todorić has been officially on the run after the State Attorney’s Office in Zagreb issued an arrest warrant for him and following the decision of the County Court to place Agrokor’s top dog on remand.
Interior Minister Davor Božinović said that “everything is being done in accordance with domestic and European legislation”, and upon being asked questions about Todorić’s current location, Božinović replied that he wasn’t in a position to talk about it.
Novi List has received unofficial information that Todorić is in fact no longer in the British capital, but somewhere near Zürich, Switzerland.
Zug, where Agrokor AG is headquartered, can be found a mere 30 kilometres from Zürich.
