Looking for something authentic to take home from Dubrovnik? Look no further!
This small place, called Luna+Sol Gallery was our own pleasant discovery the other day. Actually, we did not have much to do while waiting to get on the Cable Car, and right there, not even 20 metres away, is this little gem to feast your eyes on!
Highly tasteful and elegantly used, the small place offers something for everybody, that is, if you are not just into those literal souvenirs that clearly say ‘’Dubrovnik’’ all over them. At Luna+Sol Gallery you can see a wide selection of Croatia’s most reputed contemporary painters and sculptors, ranging from smaller to larger formats in all different techniques. However, if you are not exactly ready to buy a painting (if you do, they will ship it to your home address), you can choose from true art souvenirs to put in your suitcase and still travel lightly.
Beautiful little objects are always good to have at home, especially from a trip abroad, like when you tell your guests “Ah, we got this in a small gallery in Dubrovnik some twenty years ago”.
Highly recommendable, indeed! Especially considering the unfortunate fact that Dubrovnik is lacking in authentic, carefully made souvenirs.
