Vitastiq 2 connects the latest technology with traditional knowledge.

Vitastiq Team has reached its Indiegogo funding goal in less than a week during its second crowdfunding campaign for the production of the wireless Vitastiq 2 device. The campaign started on 5 July.

Vitastiq 2 connects to a smartphone enabling users to check the status of 30 essential vitamins and minerals. Higher precision is the result of the Bluetooth technology the device is now using to communicate with smartphones. Its body is made of titanium, making it even more durable, lighter and easier to carry around.

Meanwhile, the Vitastiq app (Android and iOS) keeps track of previous measurements and provides an instant recommendation about foods that should be included in the diet in case of any nutritional deficiencies. The new crowdfunding effort was launched to help the team adjust the Vitastiq app to wireless technology and to make the tools to produce the hardware in larger quantities.

The first Indiegogo campaign, related to the original Vitastiq device and launched in late 2014, exceeded its initial crowdfunding goal five times over.
