President Vučić will be accompanied by a large business delegation.

At the invitation of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will arrive in a two-day official visit to the Republic of Croatia on Monday, reports Večernji List on February 10, 2018.

Vučić will arrive with his delegation at the Franjo Tuđman Airport in Zagreb on Monday morning, but the official welcoming ceremony will be organized at the Presidential Office at Pantovčak, which is a usual procedure. After the arrival, the two presidents will have a private meeting, followed by a meeting of delegations. Afterwards, the two presidents will make statements for the media.

Later in the day, Vučić will meet with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković at the government’s headquarters. He will then go to the other side of the St. Mark’s Square and meet with Speaker of Parliament Gordan Jandroković in the parliament building.

In the early afternoon, President Vučić will again meet up with President Grabar-Kitarović and visit the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, where a joint economic forum will be held. A delegation with representatives of thirty key Serbian companies interested in cooperation with Croatian companies will attend the conference, while Croatia will be represented by about fifteen companies. The forum will feature speeches of the two presidents, as well as the two chamber presidents Burilović and Čadež.

Later in the day, Vučić will visit the headquarters of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Zagreb and hold a meeting with young representatives of the Serbian community. At the end of the day, the Croatian President will organise a formal dinner for the delegations and guests.

On the second day of his official visit to Croatia, President Vučić will visit the Serbian community in Vrginmost. He will use the opportunity to donate equipment for the local school. He will also visit two local families and speak with members of the Serbian community.

After visiting Vrginmost, Vučić will return to Zagreb, where an assembly of the Serbian National Council will be held at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. The Croatian leadership has also been invited to the event, after which Vučić will go to the airport and return to Serbia.

It is interesting that the official Croatian delegation will include Milorad Pupovac, a representative of Serbs in Croatia, while the Serbian delegation will include a representative of Croats living in Serbia, Tomislav Žigmanov.

Croatian President and President of Serbia, as well as the two delegations (the Croatian will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Marija Pejčinović Burić), will discuss the missing persons issue. According to the agreed numbers, there are 1945 missing Croatian citizens (including both Croats and Serbs) and 150 Serbian citizens. Representatives of the missing persons’ associations will also attend the talks.

One of the topics of discussion will be the political representation of Croats in the province of Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia. The presidents will also discuss border issues, as well as cooperation and political stability throughout Southeast Europe.
