Twitter plea sent by the ruling party to one of the richest men in the world
Since we have no automotive industry in Croatia (even Mate Rimac says we don’t so no point of mentioning Rimac Automobili and AD Plastik), HDZ decided to take things to the next level and to contact none other than Elon Musk of Tesla Motors via Twitter on April 5, 2016.
“Bring Tesla Motors home to Croatia, Nikola Tesla deserves that,” says the message published on HDZ’s official Twitter account as an answer to Elon Musk’s comment on Twitter from April 3, 2016.

Well, just how Tesla Motors are connected to Croatia, apart from the name, remains a complete mystery but it didn’t take long for comments to start flooding in. Though it would be quite a story if Tesla did indeed decide to build their second European factory in Croatia, somehow we believe it is just a pipe dream, especially when we know what kind of incentives and subsidies other EU countries are offering for such enormous projects.
