Dalic speaks of her efforts to try to calm the storm of the Agrokor crisis.

As Poslovni Dnevnik reported on the 27th of June, 2017, Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalic said that she has made considerable efforts during the past several months to contribute to the adoption of Agrokor’s law on extraordinary administration, which has contributed to the subsequent stabilisation of business and job preservation in its assessment.

“Over the past few months, unlike the SDP president and the like, I have used all my energy and knowledge contributing to the creation of the law on emergency management, which created the institutional framework in which more than 35,000 jobs were preserved in Croatia. and more than 50 thousand in the wider region” Dalic stated, in an apparent passive blow to SDP’s Davor Bernardic.

She stated that the Agrokor mess had threatened bankruptcy, mass layoffs and shutdowns in more than 50 companies throughout Croatia. She has the view that restructuration means, among other things, more efficient organisation of the business of the companies that make up the system.

Asked whether or not she explicitly claimed that there would be no job losses directly related to the issues facing Agrokor, Dalic responded that all interested parties can review all of her statements and interviews quite easily.
