January the 5th, 2025 – There have been record numbers for Pula Advent 2024, with a remarkable 72% increase compared to Pula Advent 2023.
As Morski writes, excellent news for Pula Advent 2023 according to the latest data from the Tourist Board of the City of Pula. It has been revealed that during the Christmas and New Year holidays from December the 24th, 2024, to January the 1st, 2025, a total of 4,457 guests visited Istria’s largest city. That figure for Pula Advent 2024 is an amazing 72 percent increase when compared to the same period in 2023.
Guests in the Istrian city known best for its incredibly well preserved Roman amphitheatre over the festive period realised 12,342 overnight stays. That’s also an impressive increase of 63 percent more than the previous year.
The most overnight stays were realised by guests from neighbouring Slovenia who realised 3,623 overnight stays, representing an increase of 145 percent. They were followed by domestic guests from across Croatia who realised 1,797 overnight stays, marking an increase of 8 percent.
Guests from Germany realised 1,685 overnight stays, which represented the the largest increase of all at 177 percent. Guests from neighbouring Italy also realised 965 overnight stays, which is 12 percent more compared to the same period back in 2023. Visitors from nearby Austria also achieved 831 overnight stays, representing a significant increase of 133 percent.
