Croatia’s basketball future is looking bright!

Croatia’s U16 basketball team has advanced to the final of the European Championship which will be played in Novi Sad tonight. The magnificent side overcame France in the semi-final with a score of 65:58, reports on August 17, 2017.

Croatia’s team was led by the sons of legendary Croatian basketball players, Ivan Perasović and Roko Prkačin, and Matej Bošnjak and Boris Tišma. Prkačin was the most efficient for Croatia with 21 points and 15 rebounds, Bošnjak added 16 points and 11 rebounds, Tišma came in with 14 points, while Perasović achieved 13.

This will be the fourth final for Croatia at this age, and in the last three final appearances, the Croatian cadets have won the gold medals all three times.

Croatia will face Spain tonight in the final, at 20:30, in Novi Sad. Spain defeated Turkey in the semi-final 67-57, and the impressive Spanish side will fight for their second title in three years. Those in Croatia can follow the final on Arena Sport 2.
