Croatia will face the home team today, April 8, 2016, and a win against Denmark would be a crucial one as there are two more tough matches this weekend. The teams had just a few days to prepare, so the inspiration of the players will probably decide tonight’s winners.
One of Croatia’s most experienced players, winger Ivan Čupić told the press that they expect a tough opening match against Denmark, as the hall will be packed, giving a big boost to the home team.He feels that Croatia has enough quality in the team to reach Rio Olympics, and he has pointed out that this years Olympic Games are the primary goal for this generation of players.
