Croatia national team coach Zlatko Dalić has invited 26 players for the upcoming matches against England and Jordan, both of which will be played in Rijeka.
HNK Rijeka’s stadium (Rujevica) will host the Nations League game between Croatia and England on October 12th, which will be played behind closed doors as Croatia serves a UEFA punishment from 2015. Three days later, Rujevica will be the stage for a friendly match against the national team of Jordan, announces HNS on September 28, 2018.
Coach Dalić invited the 26 footballers who were invited for the September games against Portugal and Spain, including then injured Dejan Lovren, Ante Rebić and Andrej Kramarić. The team is scheduled to meet on October 8th.
“As the young national team plays a decisive match against Greece, in agreement with fellow coach Nenad Gračan, we have not called upon several players from our U-21 team, who we wish a lot of luck and a victory over Greece,” Dalić said.
