Jana Fett managed to place among the top 100 female tennis players in the world.
In the latest WTA ranking announced on Monday, September 18, 2017, Croatia has five female representatives among the top 100!
Mirjana Lučić Baroni is currently Croatia’s highest ranked female tennis player, listed in 33rd place which is one spot down from last week, reports Gol.hr on September 18, 2017.
Ana Konjuh has progressed one place and is now the 39th best in the world, and Donna Vekić climbs from the 47th to 46th position.
Petra Martić is up two spots to 89th place, and Jana Fett, who lost in last week’s semi-finals of the WTA Tokyo tournament, progressed 24 positions to be the 99th best in the world. This is the first time the Croat has reached the top 100 in her career.
The top ten best tennis players remain unchanged.

So far as the ATP ranking goes, the best Croatian men’s tennis player is Marin Čilić who remained in the fifth place position. Ivo Karlović progressed from 49th to 48th, while Borna Ćorić kept last week’s 56th place. Viktor Galović has climbed two places and is now the 237th best tennis player in the world, and Ivan Dodig remained in the 295th position.
Among the top ten best in the world, there have been no changes. In first is still Rafael Nadal, in second is Roger Federer, and in third is Andy Murray.
