A little support from Hajduk for the younger generation.
Hajduk footballers are among many famous athletes and ambassadors of the Youth Sports Games who have expressed their support for the largest amateur sports event in this part of Europe. Between training sessions and preparations for next matches, they found time to support the first international finals which will be held from 24 August to 28 August in Split, reports Jutarnji List on August 25, 2015.
After the state finals which took place in July at several venues in Split, the international finals of the Youth Sports Games will be the crown of the competition at the regional level. It will have been preceded by a series of competitions of children from 40 Croatian towns, 120 days of various sport events, 218 winners, 3000 finalists, and more than 60,000 participants.
With the support of numerous partners, the Youth Sports Games have enabled the young athletes to have interesting and educational sports and entertainment activities during the long summer holidays.
On Thursday, 27 August, more than 500 children from Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will gather at Prokurative in Split in order to mark the official closing ceremony of the Games. At the event, there will be many well-known names from the world of sports, as well as senior officials from the three countries. The award ceremony for the best of the best will be accompanied by fireworks and a concert.
