The 6th round of the Croatian First League was played from August 31 to September 2, 2018.

The Croatian First League’s 6th round has come and gone, which saw the highly anticipated first derby of the season between Dinamo and Rijeka, and yet another draw to add to Hajduk’s unimpressive start to the season. Osijek has been holding their own so far, with just one point away from Dinamo in first, while 2nd League standouts Gorica have collected 10 points to stand with Lokomotiva in 5th place.

Here’s a look at what went down in the 6th round of the Croatian First League.

Inter Zaprešić v. Rudeš (3:0)

Inter and Rudeš kicked off the 6th round on August 31, 2018, in Zaprešic.

Inter came out strong and was awarded a penalty already in the 16th minute, bringing the home team in the lead 1:0 after Andrić hit the back of the net. Just moments later, Inter increased their lead with a goal by Burzanović in the 23rd minute for 2:0. Six minutes before the half, Šimunec hit yet another for Inter, making the score 3:0 which is how the game ended.
