The 21-year-old Ivica Zubac played the best game of his season for the Los Angeles Lakers.
On Friday, four Croatian basketball players – Bojan Bogdanović, Ivica Zubac, Dario Šarić, and Ante Žižić – got time on the NBA court – and the teams of Bogdanović and Zubac even claimed victories, reports Index.hr on December 22, 2018.
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 106:114 in New York City, and thus recorded their eighth win in the last ten games. The Pacer’s victory was led by Victor Oladipo who scored 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Croatia’s best basketball player Bojan Bogdanović continued with his great play last night and scored 17 points in his 35 minutes on the court. He also added two rebounds and four assists.
The Toronto Raptors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 126:110. Kawhi Leonard was fantastic for the Raptors, scoring 37 points in 32 minutes on the court. He also achieved six rebounds and one assist. Clarkson was the best for the Cavs with 20 points, while Ante Žižić played a solid match – and in 18 minutes on the court, he scored 11 points with six rebounds and one assist.
The San Antonio Spurs celebrated at home against Minnesota 124:98. Forbes was the best for the Spurs with 22 points, while Wiggins secured 15 points and six rebounds. Dario Šarić scored 7 points while he was on the court for 20 minutes, with five rebounds and four assists.

The Los Angeles Lakers hosted the New Orleans Pelicans in a 112:104 home win. A triple-double was recorded by LeBron James (22 points, 12 rebounds, 14 assists). The best shooter for the Lakers was Kuzma who scored 23, though we must point out the excellent performance and the double-double of Ivica Zubac who scored 16 points and 11 rebounds, which is his best in this season so far.

Mario Hezonja did not play in the defeat of the New York Knicks to the Atlanta Hawks 107:114.
