The most recent leg of the regular NBA league saw Croatian basketball players at the top.

While we’re used to singing praises for Bojan Bogdanović and his success with the Indiana Pacers, we’re happy to report that Croatia’s basketball talent in the prestigious NBA league stretches much further than the 28-year-old veteran player. Today we take a look at Croatia’s promising young talent who led their teams in the NBA league games played last night.

Ante Žižić played the best match in his first NBA season. In the Cleveland Cavaliers 98:110 defeat to the New York Knicks, the 21-year-old Split native Ante Žižić scored 20 points in his 27 minutes on the court. He only missed two shots (7-9) and had seven rebound, reports Index.hr on April 12, 2018.

The 24-year-old Šibenik native Dario Šarić, along with teammate Justin Anderson, was the best player on the Philadelphia 76ers who reached a 130:95 win against Milwaukee. This victory is the 76ers 15th consecutive win, which is a new record for the club. The Croatian national scored 24 points (shot 10-19) and collected five rebounds. In the 28 minutes Šarić was on the court, Philadelphia created a 27-point advantage. Anderson scored five points while he was on the court for five minutes and achieved six rebounds.
