Marin Čilić In The 1/8 Finals of Olympic Tournament, Konjuh Out

Marin Čilić has won against Radu Albot 6-3, 6-4, while Ana Konjuh has lost to Carla Suarez Navarro 6-7, 3-6

Marin Čilić has won his second match at the Olympic tennis tournament on August, 8. 2016, and will play in the 1/8 finals against the winner of the Monfils – Silva match.

It took one hour and thirty-eight minutes for the Croatian no. 1 to overcome against the Moldovan player.

Ana Konjuh played against the Spain’s Carla Suarez Navarro, and even though she had many chances to take the first set, it went to a tie-break, which the Croatian lost, and she was not able to come back in the second.

Čilić is the only Croatian player left in the tournament, and he should play his next match on Wednesday.
