March 18, 2024 – The brand new Croatia football kits are here, which the national team will wear at the Euros in Germany this summer.

The Croatian Football Federation and technical partner Nike proudly presented Croatia’s new jerseys that will be worn in the upcoming cycle, which includes the upcoming European Championship in Germany.

The jerseys were presented at a specially organized event in Zagreb where the team greeted hundreds of loyal fans who could see the new jerseys for the first time. Half of the squad wore the home kit and the other half the reserve kit.

Captain Luka Modrić and his teammates will wear these redesigned jerseys with a recognizable design at the Euros in Germany, where Croatia will try to continue the trend of great results in major competitions.

On the home kit, the iconic red and white squares have become the largest yet, offering a bolder look that will help shape the recognizable motifs of the Croatian flag in the stands and on the pitch. The inside of the collar reveals the ‘Family’ logo, which reflects the unity among the team. The outer ribbed part adds an even more pronounced modern style.

Inspired by the glory of the old, the reserve jersey brings a modern twist to the classic style to remind players and fans to keep dreaming big. The slanted squares on the new jersey once again pay tribute to the heroes from the 1998 World Cup in France, and the blue corresponds to the colors on the coat of arms and the Croatian flag. The ‘Family’ logo is inside the collar as a reminder of the Croatian football family.

Nike’s advanced Dri-FIT ADV technology was again used in the new jerseys. The breathable material, made from recycled plastic bottles, prevents excessive sweating and body heating and allows the players to stay dry from the first to the last minute.

“I am proud that I had the privilege of wearing the Croatia jersey the most times, but I always look forward to the new kit that follows our recognizable pattern. The Croatian checkerboard makes our jersey unique, and this especially applies to the first kit, which this time brings big red and white squares. I have to admit that I really like seeing this new jersey live. I also like the attractive design of the reserve jersey, which, thanks to the diagonal squares, takes me back to 1998 and the legendary Vatreni, who became an inspiration to many young footballers at the World Cup in France, including me,” said the captain of the Croatia national team, Luka Modrić. This is the ninth kit since Luka first played for the national team.

“Of course, we are determined in the vision that the home jersey must be in the colors of our checkerboard. I like that Nike created a new, bold and imaginative design of that recognizable pattern with the largest red-white squares yet. The jersey looks powerful and strong, just like our national team on the field. At the same time, I am sure the second jersey will also be popular among fans because it reminds us of the legendary 1998. Croatia’s jerseys always carry the strength of Croatian identity and the traditional checkerboard awakens national pride in every player and fan,” said the president of the Croatian Football Federation, Marijan Kustić.

The new jerseys are available for pre-order starting March 18 at 7:00 pm on the official HNS online store (shop.hns.family or the official iOS/Android app), with deliveries starting March 21. They will be exclusively available in Sport Vision stores from March 21.
