It might not be the most popular football club in Croatia, but after the historic win against PSV that took them to Europa League playoffs two weeks ago, Osijek rightfully became the centre of attention.
Constantly proving they’re not only good in the field but in the digital domain as well, the club has a very active presence on social networks, making sure to interact with their fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Another great move from the club’s management comes in form of a very particular action that was going on earlier today, reports Index on August 16, 2017. Osijek decided to give away 5 tickets for tomorrow’s major match against Austria Wien: on Twitter, they announced they’ll be hiding tickets around town, and advised their followers to check out their latest Instagram Story to find out where the coveted prizes are hidden.
A new story turned up every hour, and five lucky fans of Osijek grabbed their tickets for the game everyone’s looking forward to. Osijek will face Austria Wien on August 17 at home in City Garden, starting from 20:45.
