Zagreb has never won against today’s opponent, but their coach sees it as an opportunity to break their streak

PPD Zagreb has reached the last 16 stage of the EHF Champions League, and on March 19, 2016, in Arena Zagreb they are facing one of the toughest opponents possible, Germany’s Rhein-Neckar Lowen. The guest team is currently leating in the Bundesliga table, with teams like Kiel and Flensburg behind them, but Zagreb’s coach Veselin Vujović said that his team is good enough to compete with the best in the World, as they’ve shown throughout the season.

It is worth noting that Zagreb has never won against Lowen, but in the words of Mr. Vujović; streaks are there to be broken. Kick – off is aat 20.00 CET, in a supposedly packed Arena Zagreb, and the return match is scheduled for the next weekend in Germany.
