Todorić: ”Prime Minister is Trying to Minimise Crime in Agrokor”

Lauren Simmonds

Agrokor’s top dog is not neglecting his blog in spite of the continuous controversy surrounding him!

Ivica Todorić has taken to his blog on the 28th of October, 2017. This time, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has taken a verbal cyber beating, and of course, how could the Agrokor boss leave out his favourite culprit (aside from Martina Dalić)? Agrokor’s government appointed extraordinary commissioner, Ante Ramljak, couldn’t go without a mention!

As usual, we bring you the relevant parts of his blog post translated into English below:

”In his most recent statements, Prime Minister Plenković has been attempting to reduce the apparent criminal activity of his minions (yes men) in Agrokor once again. He stated that the most important thing was to restore the confidence of the creditors – those who participated in the roll up (a process used by investors/private equity firms where multiple companies operating within the same market are acquired before being merged).

I’m interested in just what creditor, who you’ve deceived with the placement of these conditions for robbery tailored for Knighthead, Madison Pacific, Alix partners, and other participants in criminal organisations, would be willing to provide a loan of even one euro after all of this.

You haven’t returned liquidity, you’ve systematically destroyed the values created throughout decades and jeopardised tens of thousands of jobs. Everything you do and everything you defend in Agrokor is unlawful and deeply unconstitutional. These are the facts, Mr Plenković, everything else you’re talking about is pure demagogy that has nothing to do with reality.
