As Index writes, Dinamo and Rijeka will face each other in the final of the SuperSport Croatian Football Cup after Dinamo beat Hajduk 1:0 at Poljud and won the final with Rijeka.

The scorer was Sandro Kulenović in the 15th minute of the match. Ivan Perišić made his debut for Hajduk, who entered the game in the 72nd minute. The final will be played in two games. The first will take place on May the 15th, and the second on May the 30th.

After the game, there was a serious incident when Torcida, apparently furious about Hajduk’s very poor result, managed to break through the fence in the north stand and rushed onto the field in large numbers. The players fled the pitch to the locker room as livid Torcida members ran towards the stand where the Bad Blue Boys of Dinamo Zagreb were located.

Things could have gone very awry very quickly were it not for a commendable and quick reaction from the police, who thankfully prevented the breakout of any violence or major riots. The intervention police successfully surrounded the angry Hajduk fans, stopped their penetration into the north stand, and chased them back to where they came from, halting any further altercations.
