In addition, through the Aminess eco-initiative, the hotel produces their own award-winning Vergal olive oil which is a symbol of working with the natural environment to produce a quality and locally-sourced product.
Aminess was the first location in North-West Istria to offer an electric car battery charging station which is now located at Hotel Maestral – and is free for guests!
For 14 years, Aminess beaches have been awarded the Blue Fag which is a certification by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) that a beach, marina or sustainable boating tourism operator meets its stringent standards.
Aminess Maestral was recognized with the Travelife ‘Gold Award’ from UPUHH under the Ministry of Tourism. Certificates were also given to Aminess Grand Azur Hotel and Aminess Lume Hotel, while Camp Aminess Sirena was awarded an eco-camping environmental award from Germany in October 2015.
Furthermore, Aminess uses simple measures such as separators for oils and fats, green spaces for the organic production of food for their restaurants using horse manure, and they even increase thermal technology. They also pride themselves on having cycling-friendly hotels.
Aminess truly keeps the environment at the forefront of their business practices, and we look forward to seeing their eco-story develop.
Bravo, Aminess Hotels & Campsites!
