Hotels.com’s “Loved by Guests” awards are based on authentic, verified reviews written by guests who have really stayed at the hotels.
To identify this year’s best of the best, tourism experts have analyzed millions of genuine guest reviews from hotels around the world, helping Hotels.com to announce the winners of their “Loved by Guests Awards 2017”. This year’s winners include 13 hotels from Croatia, which is, unfortunately, six less than last year when 19 Croatian hotels were included, reports HRTurizam on April 22, 2017.
Of the 13 award-winning Croatian hotels, the gold medal was won by 4 hotels from Dubrovnik (Bellevue Hotel, Hotel Kompas, Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel and Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel), 3 hotels from Rovinj (Maistra Monte Mulin, Hotel Adriatic and Hotel Lone), and the Esplanade Hotel from Zagreb and the Overwhelming Mediterranean Sunset Apartment from Konavle.
In the category of family hotels, the award was won by two Valamar hotels from Dubrovnik, Lacroma and Argosy, Park Plaza Histria hotel from Pula, and Lafodia Sea Resort from Lopud. In the category of luxury hotels, Dubrovnik Palace Hotel and Hotel & Casa Valamar Sanfior from Labin made the list.
Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb is now the winner of yet another international award.
