On Saturday, October 7, the charming town on Kvarner will host the first edition of ‘Art Mrkat Opatija’ (Art Market Opatija), a manifestation where local artists and various creative types will present their work to the public. The art market will take place from 9:00 to 16:00 in Hotel Le Jardin and at the terrace of Hotel Continental.
Visitors can take a look around and enjoy a display of paintings, handmade products for everyday use, jewellery, ceramics, and other attractive objects. The main goal is to inject the hosting venues with creative atmosphere, as well as to promote the work of local artists. Guests will thus get a chance to take home unique artistic creations, said the organisers from the Milenij Hoteli group.
Le Jardin is the latest creation of the Milenij group, one of the objects that are part of the Grand Hotel Četiri opatijska cvijeta (Four Flowers of Opatija). It stands out with its extraordinary concept and design inspired by calming green spaces and gardens. The entire object was devised as a future venue for various themed events dedicated to art, music and gastronomy.
