CNN: Dubrovnik Gives Other Rivieras A Run For Their Money

Lauren Simmonds

More international publicity for Dubrovnik as CNN praises the city and local area.

CNN (Cable News Network) was founded back in 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and has, with the advancement of technology, become one of the most popular publications and broadcasters in the world.

”For those who can afford them, the French and Italian rivieras have always been unbeatable destinations for anyone in search of sun, sea, sand and style. Or have they? Croatia’s Dubrovnik Riviera may just be better than both” writes CNN before listing twelve reasons that visitors should turn their sights towards Croatia’s southernmost city, including Mount Srdj and its cable car, the Summer Festival (Dubrovacke Ljetne Igre), and of course, GoT. The article even comments on Dubrovnik’s convenient geographical location and the ability for tourists to reach both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro from the city with ease.
