Maistra is building a luxury hotel on the site of the former Park Hotel in Rovinj.
Construction works on the new hotel owned by Maistra hotel group (at the site of former Park Hotel in Rovinj) are progressing as expected. The completion of the reinforced concrete construction of the sixth floor is currently underway. This phase is expected to be concluded early next year. The hotel itself will have 5+ stars, and the investment is worth 600 million kunas. It is likely that the hotel will be one of the most luxurious ones on the Croatian coast, reports tportal.hr on December 12, 2017.
The contractors are Kamgrad and Radnik from Križevci, who currently have about 400 workers at the site.
Adris pointed out that they have invested more than three billion kunas in various tourism projects so far. “Our latest major investment is the Amarin family hotel. In the next three-year period, we plan to invest more than two billion kunas. The goal is for more than 90 percent of our accommodation capacities to be in the 4 and 5+ star category since we want to attract people with more disposable income,” the company said.
“The new hotel in Rovinj will mark the end of this development phase of our tourism division, worth nearly 600 million kunas. It is also our biggest single investment. The new hotel will employ some one hundred new workers. Please note that the best of Croatian and international architects and designers have been involved in this project,” added Maistra.
The opening of the new hotel will mark the end of the renovation of the Monte Mulini area, which includes other Maistra’s hotels, as well as the wholly redesigned Mulini Beach promenade, available to both guests and citizens, in which the Adris group invested nearly 30 million kunas in 2014.
