FlixBus currently connects Croatian cities with over 500 destinations throughout Europe.

Since the FlixBus start-up entered the Croatian market last June, the fast growth and expansion of the network led to new investments of local bus operators who recognized the FlixBus business model as a model for future successful business, reports Poslovni.hr on March 6, 2017.

From a total of 15 new buses ready for the new season – which fully meet the standards of the FlixBus brand – Slavonija Bus invested in two brand new two-storey buses (Neoplan Skyliner P05) through the company Auto Hrvatska, while Brioni Pula invested in nine new buses. Vincek buses invested in an additional three buses, and Knežević transport in two additional buses. The Croatia FlixBus fleet in just eight months has grown to over 40 buses.

“Network planning, which connects Croatian cities with over 500 destinations in Europe, led to the inevitable opening of new bus routes for the upcoming season. The FlixBus brand has very quickly recognized the Croatian market and accepted it as a unique travel option throughout Europe. Because of this, in the last eight months the demand for travel has increased,” said Dean Čebohin, director of business development for FlixBus CEE region.
