Croatia shines in the Los Angeles spotlight!
The representation of the Croatian Tourist Board of New York, in cooperation with the Croatian National Tourist Board, presented the tourist offer of the country at the ‘Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show’, the largest B2C tourist fair on the west coast of the United States of America, which this year was held on the 24 and 25 February at the Los Angeles Convention Center, reports HRTurizam on February 26, 2018.
Katarina Line was exhibited as part of Croatia’s tourism industry at the fair, and several partners attended the ‘Sell Croatia’ workshop held in Los Angeles two days before the start of the trade fair – including Obzor Holidays, Tureta Travel, Expedia-Travel, Pointers Travel DMC, Nautika Center Nava, MYS Yachting, Le Meridien Lav, Hotel Diocletian and DMK Vall 042.

The fair showed great attendance this year, recording more than 35,000 visitors who had the opportunity to visit more than 500 tourist companies and organizations from all over the world, that is to get information on more than 350 destinations, said the Croatian Tourist Board. Apart from the numerous tour operators, tourist agencies, cruise companies and hoteliers, the fair attracted numerous journalists, bloggers and production companies.
As part of the rich program, lectures were held by famous celebrity travel speakers such as Rick Steves, Samantha Brown and Pauline Frommer. The fair also offered the opportunity to get acquainted with new business partners, journalists and bloggers, industry news, as well as a program on three stages – the Travel Channel Theater, the Destination Theater, and the Savvy Traveler Theater, which included a variety of cultural and culinary performances and presentations for potential tourists.
