Dubrovnik Featured in Conde Nast Travelers list of Most Beautiful Cities

Long since regarded as an exceptionally beautiful city, Dubrovnik is no stranger to lists.

The City of Dubrovnik is a common feature on lists compiled by travel websites, and it finds itself on yet another as popular and respected magazine Conde Nast Traveler names it one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

”There are few places that better capture the grand soul of maritime Old Europe than Croatia, particularly Dubrovnik. The city played Kings Landing in Game of Thrones, and was formerly the capital of the Maritime Republic of Ragusa, rival to Italy’s Venice and Amalfi. Dubrovnik’s crown jewel is the sternly lovely old town of Stari Grad, whose convents, palaces, and fountains were cut from the same lightly coloured stone.” write CNT Editors.

The internationally adored UNESCO World Heritage Site is placed at number 36 on CNT’s colourful list of 50 cities located all over the world, ranked alongside other European favourites like Edinburgh, Paris and Barcelona, as well as those from third countries such as Mexico City, and Quito in Ecuador.
