Total Croatia Sailing goes live next week. Ahead of the launch, editor Tash Pericic is featured in popular portal Insider on May 24, 2017.
I am not a sailor, but after a few years of writing online, I have learned that you don’t need to be an expert about the subject of the websites you run, as long as you have the right people running those websites, who have both a knowledge of the subject and a feeling of how to present that knowledge to a wider audience.
Total Croatia Sailing will be a very different website than the traditional Total sites so far, with a lot more social media and video interaction, as well as a number of cool features. A very large part of that is due to the energy, dynamism and vision of the TCS editor, Tash Pericic, a foreigner like me, who came to Croatia as a tourist, and soon after ended up with a wedding ring and a Croatian life partner.
Married to the lovely Mirko, a Dalmatian skipper and man of the sea, and with five years experience as a guide and hostess on the Adriatic herself, Tash has a wealth of Dalmatian sailing knowledge under her belt to accompany an already impressive CV, which includes a stint working for Gordon Ramsay.
