The good news on flights to Croatia keeps on coming, with extra lines from London, and the commencement of a summer schedule to connect Slavonia to the rest of the country, reports Avioradar on June 11, 2016.

It is already shaping up to be a bumper year in Croatia, and if the airlines are right, we are not finished yet…

With more than 30 routes to Croatia, easyJet is dealing with increased demand with the addition of extra flights from London Stansted to Dubrovnik, and from London Gatwick to Pula. Flights to both destinations are now extended into October, allowing British tourists to enjoy both popular destinations after the peak season crowds.

Another option is the increased flight service from Wizzair, which has also just announced additional rotations from Luton Luton to the Dalmatian capital of Split.

There is good news for internal flights as well, with Trade Air (see route map in the lead photo) starting flights from Osijek to Zagreb, Rijeka, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik on July 4, another peak season service.

The timetable is available here

Croatian tourism’s pre and post season accessibility was given a boost earlier this year with the news that Ryanair is close to 12-month flights to Dubrovnik, and it is also considering starting internal flights in Croatia – this in addition to launching year-round flights to Osijek.

In a rare piece of bad news, Ryanair is giving up its base in Oslo Rygge, which will affect two routes to Croatia, and the Olso to Zadar and Oslo to Pula routes will cease to exist at the end of August.
