“I am extremely proud of my team in the Ministry that proactively and innovatively joined this project and created the video with HTZ, whose quality has been recognized by the world’s professional public,” said the Minister of Tourism.

The Croatian Tourist Board’s ‘Ambassadors of Croatian Tourism’ promotional video has won the prestigious ‘Travel Video Awards’ in the category of ‘Best Video by a Tourism Organization’. The video was selected by the professional and representative jury of the Citizine Network and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), reports 24 Sata on April 10, 2018.

As stated by the Croatian Tourist Board, apart from the jury, the promotional video was also recognized by the public who, through online voting, proclaimed the Croatian video as the best promotional tourism video for 2017.

The ceremony was held in the center of Las Vegas, at House of Blues. Croatian Tourist Board director Kristjan Staničić accepted the award.

“With great pride and joy we received news about the nomination for our promotional video in the category of ‘Best Video by a Tourism Organization’, and winning this award brings us great satisfaction. This is confirmation that in the Croatian tourism community, together with our partners, we can create top-level promotional items that are internationally recognized and accepted by professionals, but also by many travel lovers around the world,” said Staničić. He added that special thanks go to everyone who, in any way, was engaged in the creation of the promotional video, and to all those who contributed to Croatia winning this valuable prize with their voices.

A promotional breakthrough for the country, in addition to the well-known and successful personalities and famous Croatian destinations, the video also promotes other forms of the Croatian tourist offer, such as cultural and historical heritage, eno-gastronomy, active holidays, nautical tourism and natural beauties, among different segments of Croatian tourism.

“This award is proof of Croatia’s successful marketing position on foreign markets and confirmation of our progressive approach in presenting the tourism potential of our country around the world. I am extremely proud of my team at the Ministry of Tourism, which has proactively and innovatively joined this project and created the promotional video with the Croatian Tourist Board, whose quality has been recognized by the world’s professional public,” said Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli.
