The latest round-up of new flight news from Croatia on January 9, 2018, a roundup dominated by SAS.
Dubrovnik will see 15 flights a week from Copenhagen, Oslo and Copenhagen in peak season (from July 23 to mid-August), while a thrice-weekly service from Stockholm will begin on March 29.
SAS will connect Pula to six cities in Scandinavia – Bergen, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Oslo, Stockholm and Stavanger, with a total of 21 flights a week from June 22.
Does SAS actually mean Scandinavia and Split? The airline will be bringing an astonishing 80 flights a week in peak season to the Dalmatian capital, from nine destinationa – Aarhus, Bergen, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Kristiansand, Oslo, Stavanger, Stockholm and Trondheim. While the majority of the flights will focus on the summer, SAS kicks off its 2018 schedule two weeks earlier than last year, with a twice-weekly service from Copenhagen, starting on March 24. Split and Zagreb will briefly see a direct connection to another Scandinavian capital – Rejkavik, as Primera Air operates a couple of charter flights in May. More info here.
British Airways is also increasing its interest in the London Gatwick to Dubrovnik route, increasing last year’s 9 flights a week to 12 in 2018. BA will fly from May 25 to September 28. Click here for the timetable.
