Scandinvian tourism to the Dalmatian coast is on the rise, with two pieces of good news from Finland on April 1, 2017.
The flight anouncements keep on coming. And so do the Scandinavians.
There has been a surge of new flights connecting initially Norway and then other countries in the region to the Dalmatian coast, and interesting shows no sign of abating.
The Finnish market has been developing a little later than in Norway, but all the signs are that more growth is expected.
In two pieces of unrelated news, it would appear that there will be more Finns on the coast this year than ever.
Finnair has announced that in its summer programme, there will be no less than 8 rotations a week to Dubrovnik, including – and for the first time, according to Avioradar – the first arrival of the Airbus A350 in Croatia, with capacity for 336 seats. See the full Finnair timetable here on the Avioradar website. Flights begin on April 14.
Meanwhile over at Thomas Cook…
Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia has announced its second route to Croatia, connecting Helsinki to the Dalmatian capital of Split, with a weekly service commening on April 25. Timetable here.
