One of the largest tourism-oriented websites, TripAdvisor announces the World’s Best Hotels With 2018 Travelers’ Choice Awards. Viroth’s Hotel in Cambodia Named Top Hotel in the World; based on the millions of reviews and opinions by the site’s users in the past year. This year, in the 16th year of the awards, TripAdvisor has recognized 8,095 properties in 94 countries and eight regions worldwide. The hallmarks of Travelers’ Choice hotels winners are remarkable quality, service and value. The awards celebrate hotel winners in the categories of Top Hotels Overall, Luxury, Bargain, Small, Best Service, B&Bs and Inns, Romance, Family and All-Inclusive. In addition, a new “Value for Money” hotel award category was created this year.

Lemongarden hotel from Sutivan on the island of Brač was given the title of the best hotel in Croatia, followed by aparthotel Tamaris from Tučepi, Miramar from Opatija, Monte Mulini from Rovinj and Villa Dubrovnik. Lemongarden was also named the best luxury hotel in Croatia. Those are amazing awards for a hotel that’s been open for less than 3 years!
In the category of small hotels Božica from Suđurađ on the Šipan Island, best B&B and Inn is La Casa di Matiki in Žminj. The best family hotel is Amarin from Rovinj and apart-hotel Bellevue from Trogir wins two categories: Best service and Romance. The Maritimo Hotel from Makarska is awarded in the Bargain category.
