Due to start next month, the new service, Uber for boats, will provide a much-needed middle road option between the wait and longer journey time on the ferry and the cost of a private speedboat transfer
Full details about the service are still to be revealed, but several UberBOAT vessels have been spotted in the harbours of Split and Hvar Town, ostensibly for promotional video purposes.
The launch of UberBOAT should be an event which will bring global media attention to the Dalmatian coast, when the ride-sharing app takes to the water, and The Times of London featured the story today.
