The Slovenian connection.

As Dubrovački Vjesnik reports, VLM Airlines, an airline owned by SHS Aviation, has announced the establishment of two regular, seasonal lines from Maribor to two destinations on the Adriatic coast – two of Dalmatia’s popular hotspots, Split and Dubrovnik.

VLM Airlines will maintain these low-cost lines throughout the month of August, every Tuesday. New lines between Maribor and Split, Maribor and Dubrovnik will be set up and ready to go on the 8th of August, ending on the 29th of the same month.

Aside from regular flights from Maribor to Split and Dubrovnik, VLM Airlines also performs seasonal flights from Italy (Ancona, Bari and Salerno) to Croatia (Brač, Split and Zadar), Greece (Corfu, Preveza and Zakinthos) and Montenegro (Podgorica and Tivat).

Otherwise, VLM Airlines owns a fleet of 6 Fokker 50 aircraft, each with a maximum capacity of 50 passengers.
