Wildfire Above Karasovići Still Active, Canadair Arrives to Aid Firefighters

The wildfire along the Croatian-Montenegrin border close to the border crossing at Debeli Brijeg is still burning.

As Dubrovacki Dnevnik reports on the 27th of August 2017, at 06:50 this morning, 112 Dubrovnik received a request for Canadair aircraft to attend to the wildfire above Karasovići at the border area between Montenegro and Croatia.

The requests were forwarded to the Fire Department and the aircraft was sent to the site to attempt to tackle the blaze which has been burning for ten days now owing to extremely difficult and barely accessible terrain.
