A specialised international festival of sparkling wines to be held on June 3rd in the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery
The summer Zagreb season announcements are slowly trickling in. Among the first is Zagreb Bubbles, a specialised international festival of sparkling wines to be held on June 3rd in the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery. The idea of the organisers is to “present numerous Croatia producers and the best foreign sparkling wines present on the local market.” Ahead of the public part of the festival there will be several workshops and wine dinners.
“Sparkling wines represent one of the fastest growing segments of the wine industry and the festival wants to become the place of reference where producers will present their products to consumers, business partners and media representatives from Croatia and abroad and promote Croatian winemaking and gastronomy, but also wishes to keep the strong international component and introduce visitors to latest world trends,” says the webpage of Zagreb Bubbles. At the same time, the Gradec plateau next to Klovićevi Dvori Gallery will hold from May 26th to June 11th the restaurant festival ZG Wine & Food, a joint presentation of Zagreb caterers and Croatian winemakers.
