Laguna, Terra Rossa, 2013

A bit of flowers, some green olives, mostly fruits, luckily nothing too much… terra rossa acids drowned in an able body for a smooth and easy sip.

Optimal ripeness and balance of a Terrano, Borgonja and Merlot coupage. A dry and finely drinkable red Istrian with 12.5% alcohol. A very smart blend which adds value to the components.

Soft acidity, easy cherry sip, slightly glazed. A Terrano offering refreshment through slightly high acids, but not as vibrant or equally dispersed as I’d prefer and without the beneficial “coldness” that would improve this drink. Not mighty, but bloody juicy and contagiously intoxicating. Can’t tell if the acids are the reason of a sense of lesser life than the 2012 harvest, but this wine is for me, now especially, a truly small and unpretentious pleasure.

For this price or the regular 35 Kuna, I truly recommend.
